Be Informed! Lecture Series – The What, Why and How of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
11/15/2017 @ 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
FreeOnly 34% of municipal solid waste is recycled or composted in America—how does Otsego County measure up? Featured speakers Karen Sullivan (Otsego County Department of Solid Waste), Karey Foster (Casella Resource Solutions) and Bob Sutherland (Mohican Farm) address key questions such as “What can and can’t be recycled? Why is it important to separate garbage from recyclables? How can I reduce my family’s solid waste output?” Celebrate America Recycles Day with us at The What, Why and How of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, part of the Be Informed! Lecture Series offered by OCCA in partnership with Mohican Farm. Program is free, though space is limited. To register, either use the form or contact OCCA at (607) 547-4488 or e-mail programdirector@occainfo.org.
