BeEmpowered to Save Energy!

Clean energy workshops to be held across Otsego County this heating season

This fall, Otsego County residents have an opportunity to ‘Be Empowered’ to make informed decisions about their home’s energy usage at three workshops across Otsego County. Participants will learn how free energy audits can help lower energy bills, how heat pumps save money while adding comfort and safety to their home, and how solar energy can reduce their energy bills while contributing to a healthier environment.

Finally, participants will learn about current New York State and Federal Incentives for all of these energy saving improvements.

Visit for lots of technical and financial information about clean heating and cooling technologies or to enroll for a free site assessment from one of our pre-vetted installer partners.

Delaware River Solar is a solar company focused on building community solar projects throughout New York State. Our community solar farms bring green, renewable energy to residents and businesses while saving them money on their electric bills. We are currently building over 40 community solar farms throughout the NYSEG and RGE electric service territories in Western and Upstate New York through 2019 and 2020.

Community Energy Advisors help residents, businesses and multifamily building owners reduce their energy use and energy costs and make informed energy decisions. In partnership with NYSERDA, they are dedicated to helping residents save money, live and work more comfortably and connect to NYS renewable energy incentive programs.
