Butternut Creek Fun Paddle–Registration Closed
September 27 @ 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Join OCCA and the Butternut Valley Alliance for this easy-going four + mile paddle down the Butternut Creek. Take in the sights and sounds of one of our most beautiful waterways and learn about the plants, animals and history of this diverse region on this family friend event. You may bring your own canoe or kayak (please be sure to clean, drain and treat your watercraft prior to the event) or reserve a space in an OCCA canoe. The event is free, but pre-registration is required using the form below. If you need an OCCA canoe, we request you register with a member of your household. Bring water, a snack, sunscreen, insect repellent, and dress appropriately.
NOTE: Due to low water conditions, we will be doing a “loop”, paddling approximately two miles up the creek, then back to our starting point.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
