Earth Festival Webinar: Glyphosate, Hazard vs. Risk

04/22/2021 @ 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Glyphosate, the most widely used herbicide in the United States, is subject to considerable debate about its impact on humans, non-target organisms, and the environment in general. In his presentation, “Assessing Pesticide Hazard vs. Risk: Glyphosate, a Case Study”, Dan Wixted, of the Pesticide Management Education Program at Cornell University examines the difference between hazard and risk and how that impacts the discussion surrounding glyphosate. Dan will also examine how the EPA assesses hazards and risks as it applies to glyphosate residues in food. Program is free, but we ask that you pre-register for this Zoom presentation here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_kAPvzaIBRFefxA5qcaoSAw
