Frog-bit Friday

August 19 @ 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

European frog-bit (Hydrocharis morus-ranae) is an invasive aquatic plant that can significantly disrupt local ecosystems. Join us for a slog through Clarke Pond in Springfield as we seek to eliminate this noxious water weed. This is a strenuous, dirty undertaking! Close-toed shoes that won’t come off in the mud are highly recommended, as are long pants. Parking is at 7382 NY-80 (almost directly across the road from Farm Credit East).
