Frog-bit Friday
06/10/2022 @ 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Goi butt-deep in the swamp to help prevent the spread invasive species! Join us as we wade into Clarke Pond in Springfield in an effort to eliminate European frog-bit (Hydrocharis morsus-ranae) from the pond, and to prevent it from spreading to other water bodies, including nearby Otsego Lake. European frog-bit is a highly invasive aquatic plant capable of disrupting our local ecosystems. Please note this is strenuous work that involves wading through deep mud. You will get wet and muddy! Please use the pre-registration form below. You will receive specific instructions on where to meet as we get closer to the date.
