Get the Kids Out: POSTPONED
11/11/2020 @ 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Trees play a vital role in our world, whether we’re sitting beneath them on a hot summer day, appreciating their beauty, or reaping any of their many environmental benefits. In this ‘tree part’ series melding fun and science, kids will learn about the part trees play in mitigating climate change. In Part I we’ll cover some of the basics of trees, including identification and some basic measurements. Future dates in this series to be announced. This program will take place at Brookwood Point, 6000 State Route 80, Cooperstown, NY. Space is limited, please pre-register by emailing Program Director, Jeff O’Handley, programdirector@occainfo.org.
***DUE TO WEATHER, THIS PROGRAM IS BEING POSTPONED. CHECK FOR NEW DATE SOON***
