Household Hazardous Waste Day Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed for Otsego County’s 23rd annual Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Meadows Office Complex in Cooperstown. Volunteers will primarily assist with latex paint recycling, including sorting paints, opening cans, stirring and pouring paint into special containers. Additional tasks will include directing traffic and helping to unload cars. Shifts available from 7:30-11am, 10:30am-2pm, or all day! Please use the form below to sign up to help out. This form is only for volunteering, not for signing up to bring materials to HHW.
NOTE: Household Hazardous Waste Day is run by the Otsego County Department of Planning and Solid Waste. For specific questions regarding hours of operation, what items you may bring for disposal, etc., contact the department at (607) 547-4225, or visit their website.
