Paddle and Pull — Goodyear Lake

August 9 @ 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Free

Enjoy a pleasant day on the water and help in the fight against aquatic invasive species! We’ll paddle in the Stump Lot portion of Goodyear Lake in search of water chestnut (Trapa natans) a highly invasive plant that persists in our area. You may bring your own personal watercraft, or you may reserve an OCCA canoe provided that you pre-register and sign up with a member of your household using the form below. Bring water, sunscreen, a hat and prepare to get wet (and maybe a little muddy, too). Please note cloth face coverings must be worn in all situations where social distancing is not possible. Meet at the Portlandville Fishing Access Site on State Highway 28 in Portlandville.
