Spotted Lanternfly Egg Hunt

03/18/2021 @ 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Spotted lanternfly

The spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) is an invasive insect that poses a significant threat to our agricultural industry, forest health and quality of life. Currently found in large numbers in southeastern Pennsylvania, the spotted lanternfly has established populations in several areas in New York. During this Zoom presentation, you will learn about the life cycle of the spotted lanternfly, the threat it poses to New York, and how to recognize it in its different life stages. Those interested will then have the opportunity to participate in a search for SLF egg masses on Saturday, March 20. Register for this free program here.
