Trail Tuesdays
08/17/2021 @ 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Spend some quality time outdoors while helping to improve recreational opportunities in our state forests! Each session, we’ll work on a portion of trail in either Basswood Pond State Forest or Arnold Lake State Forest. Activities will include cutting brush, removing woody debris, improving drainage, and repairing walkways and other trail structures. Participants should bring their own work gloves. OCCA can provide a limited number of hand tools. All participants will need to fill out a New York State Volunteer application, available at VSA – Individual Volunteer Application (ny.gov). Please note times and dates. Register for each date separately. You will receive confirmation and information on how to dress, what to bring, etc.
July 6: Basswood Pond State Forest, Burlington, 9am-11
July 20: Arnold Lake State Forest, Hartwick, 6-8pm
August 17: Basswood Pond State Forest, Burlington, 6-8pm
