Sound policy development and landuse planning are the cornerstones to natural resource protection. Through a scientific approach, OCCA helps local citizens and municipal officials determine the best course of action to protect Otsego County natural resources and preserve its rural character, while promoting economic development within our borders.
Continuous Support
Our Environmental Planner can be retained by your advocacy group at minimal
cost, and can work closely with your group to tackle challenges as they arise. The following are a few ways we can provide continuous support:
- planning expertise;
- SEQR review and general planning with land use planning;
- reviewing project applications;
- GIS work;
- permitting questions.
How it Works
OCCA provides a discounted rate to participating advocacy groups. Our current rate for environmental planning is $70/hour, but our services can be retained at $50/hour. Contract amounts vary based on the needs of the group.
