Drive-Thru, Drop-Off Recycling

This year, Earth Festival and Drive-Thru, Drop-Off Recycling (DTDO) are separate events. We hope that you’ll be able to join us for both.

Accepted Items at DTDO 2023:

  • Polystyrene foam (Styrofoam) through the Oneonta ReUse Center 
  • Paper shredding through Empire Recycling 
  • Textiles through Helpsy 
    • Including textiles in all conditions. Items that are in good condition will be resold, while items that are in poor condition will be recycled for other use (e.g., carpet fibers and insulation) 
  •  VHS and audiocassettes through GreenDisk 
  • Small electronics digital cameras, keyboards, tablets, chargers, cables/cords-through Greendisk 
  • Terracycle items include: 
    • Pet food bags 
    • Pens, markers, and writing implements 
    • Cosmetics containers  
    • Office Supplies- (staplers, paper clips, pencils, tape dispensers, binder clips, label backing, correction supplies, pens) 
    • Small Plastic Pieces (break room separation)-coffee pods, creamers, dining disposables, plastic containers, and bags, 
    • Chip Bags- Late July Snacks 
    • Action Figures-small plastic dolls and plastic toys 
    • GU Energy Drinks 
    • Lundberg Family Farms-chip bags 
  • Dental care products through Oral-B 
  • Eyeglasses through the Cooperstown Lions Club 
  • Inkjet cartridges through Planet Green 
  • Cell Phones through Opportunities for Otsego 
  • Razors through Gillette 
  • Tennis balls through ReBounce

When you register through Eventbrite you’ll be able to choose the time you’d like to bring your items for drop-off. Registration is free.
