Thank you to everyone who joined our Clark Tower Hike on 11/11, in conjunction with Glimmerglass Film Days. We had a wonderful turn out!
Throughout the walk, we listened to Program Director Jeff O’Handley, and learned all about local geology, and details about forest soil and plants. We also had a great time identifying ferns and mushrooms!
Last week, we said goodbye to our Environmental Planner, Danny Lapin. We celebrated his last seven and a half years at OCCA with a great evening. Thanks to all those who came out to celebrate Danny.
Danny was a valuable asset to OCCA, and he took the Planning Department to new heights! The OCCA team wishes the absolutely best for Danny, and we can’t wait to see where the future takes him.

Garage Sale (ongoing) As part of OCCA’s mission to reduce our carbon footprint we will be holding our traditional “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Garage Sale” digitally. You will still have the benefit of donating items to OCCA, getting some GREAT deals, and knowing that you are keeping things out of the landfill.
If you are interested in any of the items we have listed OR if you have items to donate, please email us.
Donations provide the foundation for our work throughout Otsego County. By becoming a supporter of OCCA, you become a part of a unique countywide environmental organization whose mission is to protect local natural resources for the benefit of all.
