There are jobs available in Otsego County!
Not only is OCCA looking to hire a Senior Planner (information available here), but our friends at the Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District are hiring for multiple positions, including a Conservation District Manager and a Secretary to the Soil and Water Conservation Board. Please head over to their website to find more about the positions and for information on how to apply.

Two opportunities to help in the fight against Aquatic Invasive Species:
Paddle and Pull – Goodyear Lake, July 16, 9-noon
Water chestnut is making a comeback in the stump lot section of Goodyear Lake. Bring your own watercraft or borrow an OCCA canoe. We’ll teach you what to look for and how to remove this annoying invasive.
Paddle and Pull – Silver Lake, July 30, 10-2pm
This beautiful, 40-acre lake in New Berlin has invasives trouble. Join OCCA and members of the Silver Lake community as we continue our efforts at removing water chestnut and European frog-bit from the waters. Registration required. Lunch provided!
More dates coming in August!
