Recycling Where You Live

Do you know how to recycle where you live? If you live in Otsego County, you can visit our friends at Otsego County Solid Waste and Planning to learn more about single-stream recycling: Welcome to Otsego County, NY.  Don’t forget – all containers you recycle must be empty, rinsed, and dry; cardboard must be broken down and flat; and you can’t recycle anything smaller than 2”. If you are a renter your landlord is required by law to offer recycling. Check back in the coming days to learn more about recycling and how OCCA supports recycling in Otsego County and beyond!

Our work has grown and expanded, but funds are required to continue protecting the environment and educating our community. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by August 31, 2022.
